Demonstrations / See it in action

Come with questions.
See the equipment.

A demonstration is a chance to understand the sawmill setup, watch the work and discuss what would suit your property. Gord will confirm the machine, location and visit details with you.

Request a visit
What to expect

See more than
a machine in a photo.

Here is the kind of walkthrough CCES plans to offer. The exact sequence depends on the mill, site readiness and the visit Gord confirms with you.

Start with your project

Tell us what you want to make.

Talk through your typical log size, the boards you hope to mill, and how the equipment would fit your property and storage space.

Walk around the mill

Understand the setup.

See the rails, log supports, sawhead and controls. For the Little Ripper, ask Gord to point out the arrangement described in its patent.

Watch the work

Follow a cut, then inspect it.

When an operating demonstration is available, watch how the log is positioned and a board is cut. Look at the result and ask how blade, timber and setup affect it.

Plan the next step

Leave with useful answers.

Discuss the quoted configuration, included equipment, optional accessories, transport, supplier service arrangements and the costs to confirm before purchase.

A demonstration is for understanding the equipment, not a promise of a particular cut result. Gord will explain the site rules and what visitors can safely do before the visit.

Planning your visit

Come with your questions.

Tell Gord which sawmill interests you and what kind of logs or projects you have in mind. Measurements, photos of your property or a list of questions can help make the conversation useful.

Demonstration location
Cottage Country, Ontario
Sample area. The exact site and directions will be confirmed when a visit is arranged.

Gord will confirm the date, location, equipment available, expected visit length and any site or safety instructions. A request does not reserve a date.

The demonstration site is being developed. An operating cut depends on site readiness and machine availability. Prospective processor, splitter and conveyor models are not offered as demonstration options in this preview.

Let’s plan a demonstration.

Your preferred date is a request. Gord will confirm the visit with you.
